"Long bridge", c'est l'histoire de la recherche acharnée de près d'un mois de ma chatte dans les rues de Recouvrance à Brest. L'animal avait en fait probablement embarqué dès les premiers jours de sa disparition dans un véhicule qui l'a amené à 400km de là, en Vendée. Ne le sachant pas j'ai retourné le quartier, de jour comme de nuit, découvrant tous les recoins, les entresols, les caves, le moindre buisson de mon quartier. Je m'y suis fondu jusqu'à l’écœurement et l'hallucination, tout en repoussant les limites de ma fatigue. Elle ne reviendra pas en vie. La vidéo a été confectionnée au long de l'année, avec mon téléphone, à travers la lentille d'une jumelle, ce qui est très galère. Monolithe Noir
“Long Bridge” tells the story of my relentless, nearly month-long search for my cat in the streets of Recouvrance, in Brest. In reality, she had most likely climbed into a vehicle within the first days of her disappearance and was unknowingly taken 400 kilometers away, to Vendée. Not knowing this, I tore through the neighborhood day and night, uncovering every corner, every basement level, every cellar, every single bush. I immersed myself in it to the point of nausea and hallucination, pushing far beyond the limits of exhaustion. She will not be coming back alive. The video was made over the course of a year, using my phone through the lens of a pair of binoculars — which was, to say the least, a real struggle. Monolithe Noir
